Taichi is a health promoting, low impact exercise which can improve balance and flexibility.
Regular practice can reduce the impact of chronic diseases such as Arthritis, Parkinsons and similar, though it is not a cure.
The mindful and meditative aspects can reduce stress and anxiety by allowing the mind to focus on the immediate - for instance following the breath as it goes in and out.
I have been a registered instructor with the "Taichi and Internal Arts Association" since 1993.
